This is me - on a rainy Easter morning, surrounded by the most important things in my life - my guys. Six years ago, I quit my job teaching elementary school to be a stay-at-home mom. While I've never had regrets, I needed something else. Something that was just for me. While pregnant with our second son, I got it in my stubborn head that I needed an embroidery machine...a serious one. I did my research, spent several months begging my husband and illustrating for him the finer points of why I needed a semi-commercial machine to meet my crafting needs, and finally decided on THE machine. I've always loved embroidery. I've always been amazed at how simple thread can create beautiful and intricate designs on so many different textiles. So, of course embroidery is where my pregnancy brain went when it decided that I needed a new hobby. Nevermind the 15 totes in the basement full of other craft supplies - crochet, wreath making, painting, scrapbooking, sewing, and oh, the fabric - this is what I NEEDED!! In spite of all my previously purchased and ultimately abandoned crafting supplies, my husband eventually accommodated my crazy and I brought home my baby (my machine) just a couple weeks before I had my actual baby (#2). I was scared to use it. I read the entire manual cover to cover before I even turned it on (usually while feeding my son). I finally stitched out one of the preloaded patterns and I couldn't take my eyes off of it! It really is fascinating how thread flies into the fabric at 800 stitches per minute. SO...I spent the next 6 months learning the ins and outs of my new machine and figuring out how to justify the expense of it (and caring for my new baby). I enjoy the creative side to it all - the appliques and the more intricate designs, though they also require the most time and work. There is so much more to it than I could have imagined, but it continues to fascinate me. Even better, my sister decided to join me in the madness and make vinyl designs! Any vinyl listings you see are her work. She uses only the highest quality vinyl and if it's possible, she's even more particular than I am!

It is my pleasure to provide you with beautifully stitched pieces and I'm honored and grateful that you're here! I try to get the best quality items at the best possible prices and embellish them beautifully with my customers in mind.
